Viking Axe Amulet - one of a kind hand sculpted in solid silver - made to order

Inspired by ancient Viking era artifacts this solid silver amulet of a viking Battle Axe has a wonderful presence of solid heft to it. Amulets gave protection and bestowed special attributes to the wearer - in this case, everything connected with an axe - power, the ability and confidence to make decisons, self-belief and protection from other's harm. Many amulets were decorated with circular patterns, believed to be representations of celestial bodies. This amulet is completely unique, it was cast in solid sterling silver and the mould was broken during the casting process so it can never be made again.

The amulet measures approx. 27 x 29 x 7mm

Hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office, this amulet is presented on an adjustable leather cord or spiga chain of your choice.
